2020 Project Title: "Preparatory Office of National Railway Museum-Initial Project of Yintie Collection" The preservation of railway culture by the National Railway Museum is a comprehensive development from various aspects. Railway sound is an important soundscape in Taiwan, and it is also a deep national daily memory. This project, with the assistance of Taiwan Railways, recorded all the complete environmental sounds at Taipei Main Station from the first train in the morning to the last train leaving after midnight. It comprehensively recorded the present in 2020. Sound documentary, including all kinds of train arrival and departure announcements, train arrival sounds, driving bells, and various electronic ticket sounds when passing through the gate.
The accumulated sound records of the "Tiebo Yintie Project" will be an important display resource for the museum in the future. The project will continue to open up other railway sound recording and preservation tasks.
